Vicky M. Cartsos, DMD, MS



Professor Vicky Cartsos' professional aim is to offer her patients - children and adults - the opportunity to develop a beautiful smile with a functional bite and optimal facial esthetics.


Dr. Cartsos has practiced Orthodontics since 1995 and has significant clinical experience in inter-disciplinary orthodontic therapy which includes prosthodontics, periodontics, orthognathic (jaw) surgery and the complex management of children with cleft lip and palate.


Dr. Cartsos obtained her dental degree and her orthodontic specialty training at TUFTS University School of Dental Medicine, in Boston, Massachusetts.


Prof. Cartsos is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists and the American Dental Association. Vicky holds a Masters of Dental Science (MSD) Degree with a focus in Clinical Decision Analysis, and has authored several high-impact medical and dental articles.


Prof. Vicky Cartsos is currently the Director of the Graduate Orthodontic Program at Tufts University and a member of the Cleft Lip and Palate Clinic of the Tufts Medical Center - Floating Hospital for Children in Boston.
